Black-And-White Photo Competition 1 2013 : Entry Number 1290

We like the perspective of this image that helps making it interesting, different and tell the story of the expressions. An image that will communicate differently to different people whenever they look at it again.

Thanks to I SHOT IT team and the judges for this mark. I also want to congratulate the winner and many interesting entries. My name is Pedro Ferreira, I live in Lisbon, Portugal and I'm a fashion and portrait photographer. I don't usually do street photography, but often take my M9 (that I use for 90% of my professional work) to make some notes for ambiances and locations. There are times and situations that are irresistible. Like this one. The nun and the teenager contrast in the Paris Subway train, the nun expression and her style and posture, the fake style Prada handbag, and the book cover the girl was reading (The Just Assassins_Albert Camus) with the face looking at me, were shouting to take the photograph.
