Thank You to all those who voted, both for my photo as well as the others! My name is William Osborn, I took this at Saratoga Racetrack on a very rainy Opening Day in 2009. This was shot with a Nikon D70 attached to a Nikon AF 80-200 (2.8)D lens and using the camera's Sport Program. As far as post production, a slight brightening of the colors and a small degree of centering..the "blurr" effect was a result of the exposure itself.. nothing else added by me. A very big CONGRATS to the winner of this competition and to the other Mark of Excellence recipients!
