An entire new world appearing it this little drop of water. A beautiful composition with lovely colors. Focusing on the little drop of water works so well and makes this image feel like diving into a different reality. What a wonderful photograph. Congratulation!

This photo was taken right in my front yard during a light rain shower. The hanging raindrop posed the perfect macro challenge for me. My goal was to capture the reflection in full detail, but limit the depth of field to blur the background flowers. I used my D700 with Nikkor 60mm/2.8 lens. F/10, 1/160 sec, ISO 400. Post processing limited to cropping in Capture NX2. Thank you so much for the acknowledgement. This is my first money prize for my photography. :) Kimberly Herold, Navarre, FL
