Car Photo Competition 2012 : Entry Number 89

I love this image, good use of both space but also of the tonality of the scene using those rich tones and colour from the car body itself to really 'pop' this image in a dramatic scene. Very well done!

My name is David Queenan and I live in Scotland. This shot was taken on a old slipway at a boat club near Blackness Castle, which you can just see in the background, using a Nikon D200 and Nikkor 17-55mm lens. The image was processed from three bracketed images using Lightroom and Photoshop. I've been a big fan of Tim Wallace's work for many years, so to have this image selected and to hear such positive comments from Tim is fantastic.
