My name Elizabeth Yureklier DiRosa, I am a Florida Wildlife Photographer . The flamingo is one of my favorite birds to observe, although they are not actually Florida natives: the lesser Flamingo (Phoenicopterus minor) is a species in the flamingo family of birds that resides in Africa that are often found in our wildlife parks here in Florida. They have bold personalities that are just as colorful as their feathers which makes them awesome to watch and photograph.
