Wishing everyone Happy Shooting and an Inspirational 2014

December 31st, 2013

Dear Friends and Members of I SHOT IT Inc.

It has been an amazing year for our company. We recently celebrated our 300,000 followers on Facebook – in fact we will soon be close to 350,000. Many thousands of photos have been submitted into the various I SHOT IT competitions during the past year - with diverse photographic themes accompanied by overwhelming enthusiasm from our participants. Among our winners' entries were breathtaking pictures that will write photographic history, like the one from Jan Grarup or Damon Winter's “Soldiers in Afghanistan covering a wounded colleague”. Other winners have come from totally unknown but brilliant photographers. We love photographers and their work - and the photographic community loves I SHOT IT!
Our strong partnership with Leica Camera AG brought us to co-host the prestigious Oskar Barnack Public Award in 2014 and as we share many interests and passions with Leica we are looking forward to strengthening our ties with them even more in the coming year to the benefit of both companies. The innovation of I SHOT IT and the heritage and history of Leica are the driving factors alongside the passion for photography all our team members share deeply.
Photography is set to become the No.1 hobby in the 21st century and billions of people will have access to more than just one camera, be it a dedicated photographic device or just a lens attached to a computer. New forms of sharing images, storing and producing photos are emerging and this will have a profound impact on the art world as well. I SHOT IT is bold and wants to take the lead in this exciting photographic world of today and tomorrow. We are willing and able to work hard to achieve this goal. This would never be possible without our many friends, corporate partners and allies - our admiration and gratitude goes out to you all.
Wishing everyone Happy Shooting and an Inspirational 2014
