Back in January we had an email from an I SHOT IT user called Evan. Evan requested that we add a feature for bulk deletes, because deleting one photo at a time was too tedious. This feature has now been added:

Delete Photos

On this page you will see all of your photos over a number of pages. Clicking on a photo will show a trash can. Clicking on it again will remove the trash can. All of your photos behave like checkboxes that can be selected and deselected. Once you are happy with the photos you have selected, you just need to click on the big button at the bottom of the page, and the selected photos will be deleted.

Child Photo Competition 2013 No 3

There were 763 entries which all added up to there being a super cash prize of $1,526.00. Not forgetting the Leica V-LUX 40 and which is also added to the first prize. Thank you to everyone who entered their photos. We enjoyed looking at all of them, and we look forward to seeing more in the next child photo competition.

After receiving over 200,000 facebook likes we created a free 200 themed competition. As this competition was free to enter, the winning photos were chosen by the I SHOT IT staff. The winning photos can now be viewed here:

'200' Free Photo Competition

The winner has won a Leica X2 Camera worth $2000. That's an incredible prize for a competition that was free to enter. It was wonderful to see so much creativity and original ideas. Many of you had clearly made a big effort and spent a considerable amount of time to create some of the photos. Thank you to everyone who entered their 200 themed photos.

As I write this I can see that we now have over 250K facebook likes. Thank you to everyone who has liked us on Facebook, and who is following our news and photo competitions. We look forward to having similar competitions in the future.

There was a delay in announcing the winner of the last macro photo competition which will be explained later. We are very pleased to have some excellent winning photos to show you here:

Macro Photo Competition 2013 No 3

Heidi Westum from Norway won $542.40 plus a Leica V-LUX 40. There were 452 entries in the competition. Thank you to everyone who entered their photo.

Before Heidi's photo was marked as the winner, another photo was chosen as the winner. It was a wonderful photo of an eye showing the veins in the eye. There were a number of signs which made us suspicious that the person was entering a photo that had been copied from a website on the internet. With some time spent investigating this we did track down the photographer who originally took the photo. The photographer had a different name and lived in a different country to the person who entered the photo. We are very pleased to have stopped the cheat from claiming the prize, and we hope that this serves as a warning to anyone else who might think of cheating.

The competition was a blooming success with an astonishing 959 entries, so we'd like to say an extra big thank you to everyone who took part. The competition was won by Cassandra Pfaff from Pittsburgh. She won $1,150.80 plus a Leica V-LUX 40.

Wildlife Photo Competition 3 2013

We had a whale of a time viewing all of the entries and we are wildly excited about seeing these super winning shots. Thank you for entering your photos. There were 389 entries. Congratulation to the winner who won $466.80 and a pair of Leica Trinovid 8 x 20 BCA Binoculars.

Thank you for all of your wonderful photos of San Francisco and the Bay Area. There were 141 entries. The winner, Meliha Eras from Houston, won $282 plus a Leica V-LUX 40.

Bird Photo Competition 3 2013

Laurent Godel from Barcelona, Spain won $757.20 plus Leica Trinovid 8 x 20 BCA Binoculars. Laurent's photo shows an original technique used to combine many exposures. It's great to see a new way of producing an amazing photo. There were 631 entries. Thank you to everyone who entered their bird photos.

We are pleased to announce the results of the first food photo competition:

Food Photo Competition 2013 No 1

The competition was won by Sittig Fahr-Becker with a beautiful shot of doughnuts that you just wish were real so you could pick one up and eat it. This competition had 201 entries. Sittig won $402 and a Leica V-Lux 40.

Congratulation to Davor Manojlovic from Zagreb in Croatia. Davor has won $1,014.00 plus a Leica V-LUX 40 worth $800. There were 845 entries for this very popular competition. Thank you to everyone who entered their photos. We should probably thank the dogs as well for being such good models. Hopefully they are all happy to have a photos of themselves on the internet.
