This atmospheric photo proves that you can take excellent photos even in the winter months. It's just a case of getting out there and finding the right spot. I love taking photos of egrets myself. Their exceptionally white plumage makes them easy to spot. I don't think they like flying much so it's a bonus if you can catch one in flight.
